So one morning you wake up and someone says, "You've Won an Award," But you don't know why. So what do you do? If you're Obama, of course you accept it!

Mr. Ramirez is a Lincoln Fellow and has won several awards during his career, including the 1994 Pulitzer Prize, the UCI Medal from the University of California, Irvine and the Sigma Delta Chi Awards in 1995 and 1997. He has been the editorial cartoonist of the Los Angeles Times, the Commercial Appeal and USA Today, and is nationally syndicated in over 450 newspapers around the world.

Many around the world see Obama's winning of the Nobel Peace Prize in October of 2009 as a slap in the face to Martin Luther King and others like Lech Walesa, who had won their international award on achievements and principle with some even putting their own lives and their families at risk for their efforts.

It was no different when Al Gore received his shared peace award, this one a slap in the face to Irena Sendler of Poland who was left standing empty handed. Sendler had risked her life saving Jewish babies in Nazi Germany while Gore was a liberal progressive American multimillionaire raking in the dough off of his faux global warming. He gladly took the award away from Sendler as a gift from these disgusting elitists in Norway. Soon after the award had been given out Sendler died, no longer qualified, while Al continued flying his private jet around the world.

Looking back, I wonder in the case of Sendler, and now with Obama, if the Nobel prize elitists are sending a political message to the Jews, although one did receive a prize in 2009. But it certainly gives one pause. Again, too many things progressive liberals touch turns to lead, and so it goes for the committee that awards the Nobel Peace Prize.

Obama had allowed the media to have an orgasm over winning the prize, while he could have instead recognized others that had won awards for real achievement in 2009, mentioning their names and what they had done. But as with any narcissist it didn't happen.

So I will do it for him:

The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2009:
1/3 Prize: Elizabeth H. Blackburn, USA, University of California
1/3 Prize: Carol W. Greider, USA, Johns Hopkins University
1/3 Prize: Jack W. Szostak, USA, Harvard Medical School

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2009:
1/2 Prize: Charles K. Kao, China, Chinese University of Hong Kong
1/4 Prize: Willard S. Boyle, USA, Bell Laboratories
1/4 Prize: George E. Smith, USA, Bell Laboratories

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2009:
1/3 Prize: Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, UK, Cambridge
1/3 Prize: Thomas A. Steitz, USA, Yale
1/3 Prize: Ada E. Yonath, Israel, Weizmann Institute of Science

The Nobel Prize in Literature 2009:
Herta Muller, Germany

The Nobel Prize in Economic Science 2009:
(To be announced)

The Nobel Peace Prize has now evolved to allowing Norway elitists elected by the Norway Parliament to reward their wealthy progressive buddies around the world, no longer serving the purpose to recognize everyday heroes who had gone beyond their normal lives as an example for the world to follow. Some had even walked through amazing trials of pain, suffering, and threats for standing up for their beliefs just as Sendler had done, Sendler caught by the Nazis and tortured.

For those who had won the Nobel Peace Prize, they can now consider moving it from the mantel to storage in the attic, the award losing its value along with the U.S. and its dollar ironically caused in the last nine months by the new winner, Barack Obama.

Obama could have won respect as a leader if he had turned down the award for lack of achieving anything except bringing his radicals and community organizer corruption to our White House. But as we have seen again and again, like his handing-out white coats for his supporting physicians to wear during a photo opt, it is not in his nature to do such things.

He is proving more and more every day to be a self-serving narcissist who has only learned to spend other people's money while loving the good life for himself. Under his watch as president he even allowed school vouchers to be taken away from poor black children in Washington, D.C. who had been attending the same school as his daughters.

Obama is seen by many now as an opportunist, a liar, and a communist sympathizer, an enemy of the principles Americans died for to protect this country and its freedoms, elected by 95% blacks; too many voted for more handouts off the backs of other Americans as they shuffle around decade after decade in their failed cities run by liberal Democrats like Obama, ones they keep voting into office for the return of not even fresh straw.

But when Obama said fundamental change will now come to America through his election, I don't think voters believed he was to become that dark a personality in trying to rule as if a dictator, not even allowing voters to see bills in Congress that would effect the everyday lives of millions of Americans.

But the following is much more to the point, and I hope you pass it around.

Do you understand the Nobel Peace Prize committee has given an award to a president who recognized the violence of the communists take-over of China in 1949, killing tens-of-millions of Chinese at the time, by his raising their red and yellow flag of death at OUR White House for the 60th anniversary of the mass murders?

I hope conservatives create a new peace award to replace this annual one produced for progressive liberals, one that will recognize again those few like Sendler who had earned the prize though personal risks and achievement. She was still alive when the arrogant bastard Gore took the prize away from her, a man who could have deserved some credit if he had simply said, "I cannot stand in the shadow of Sendler, and therefore I must hand this over to her acknowledging her bravery."

But he didn't. Because like Obama, liberal progressives are arrogant, self serving, and hate anyone who wants to debate their motives to rule others.

It is in their nature and you need to never forget it.
