Barack Obama, Congressman from Illinois, trained
early-on at a private academy that taught the children of Hawaiian
royal family, later to go on to Harvard, compares himself to the
life of Abraham Lincoln.
Is it any wonder the public sees
these elitists as being full of themselves?

Congressional Representative Barack Obama
made a comment that he
is like Abraham Lincoln. We hope he is not talking about the
"real" Abraham Lincoln, the man not alive to defend himself
from this yuppie African-American that seems so full of himself.
Peggy Noonan, from an opinion piece in
the Wall Street Journal, reports
Barack Obama is the son of two University of Hawaii students and went
to Columbia and Harvard Law after attending a private academy that taught
the children of the Hawaiian royal family. He
made his name in politics as an aggressive Chicago vote hustler in Bill
Clinton's first campaign for the presidency.
Barack sounds more like an African-American
yuppie comparing himself to one of America's greatest presidents. On
the life of Abraham Lincoln, on the other hand, Noonan writes,
"Lincoln came from a
lean-to in the backwoods. His mother died when he was 9. The Lincolns
had no money, no standing. Lincoln educated himself, reading law on
his own, working as a field hand, a store clerk and a raft hand on
the Mississippi. He also split some rails. He entered politics, knew
more defeat than victory, and went on to lead the nation through its
greatest trauma, the Civil War, and past its greatest sin, slavery."

Today are so Full of Themselves, by Peggy Noonan in the
