The SEA Program
The Self-Employment Assistance Program . . . helping unemployed individuals to make a difference

The United States Government through the United States Small Business Association (USSBA) has established a pilot program in some states entitled The SEA Program (Self-Employment Assistance) to help qualified individuals who are receiving unemployment benefits and want to start their own businesses. Through classes that may be taught in university environments, unemployed citizens are provided with an excellent selection of teachers and materials to help them understand the responsibilities of starting their own business.
