While the above story is a silly example
of those who are offended by elitist that force their thinking on
others and treating them as so much useless trailer trash, here's
a brief overview of real characters from the Bible that were used
to promote the message of its author.
Notice the individuals below were
not called from the elites of that day's society, but instead from
its outcasts, elitists so filled with themselves and their own image
of wonder there is nothing left to fill:
Noah was a drunk - Abraham
was too old - Isaac was a daydreamer - Jacob
was a liar - Leah
was ugly - Joseph was abused - Moses
had a stuttering problem - Gideon was afraid
- Sampson had long hair and was a womanizer - Rahab
was a prostitute - Jeremiah and Timothy were too young -
David had an affair and was a murderer
- Elijah was suicidal - Isaiah preached naked
- Jonah ran from God - Naomi was a widow
- Job went bankrupt - John the Baptist ate
bugs - Peter denied Christ - The Disciples
fell asleep while praying - Martha worried about everything
- The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than
once Zaccheus was too small - Paul was too religious - Timothy
had an ulcer - and Lazarus was down right dead!
The Jewish scribes,
who faithfully reproduced original documents to create the Old Testament,
were faithful and learned men, not myth-makers. Creating lies was
not the way of those who followed the Jewish faith to the letter during
those times, unlike many so-called educated people of today along
with the membership of the ACLU.
However the theme of arrogant people
like these, rejecting the faith they were taught as children, runs
through the Bible again and again, something that has never changed
to describe the failed human spirit since the beginning of time.
The Bible has instead focused on those filled
with humility and awe of the world they lived in, its wonders working
together for a perfect
system created by intelligence, not chance.

thoughts that put prespective into everyday living, getting around
those that only complicate the world with the wonder of themselves:
1. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious
nuts.
2. Growing old is inevitable . . .
growing up is optional.
3. There is no key to happiness. The
door is always open.
4. Silence is often misinterpreted
but never misquoted.
5. Do the math . . . and count your
blessings.
6. Faith is the ability to not panic.
7. Laugh every day. It`s like inner
jogging.
8. If you worry, you didn`t pray. If
you pray, don`t worry.
9. As a child of God, prayer is calling
home every day.
10. Blessed are the flexible for they
shall not be bent out of shape.
11. The most important things in your
house are the people.
12. When getting tangled in your problems,
staying still will help to see the knots and allow her faith to
dissolve them.
13. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.
14. He who dies with the most toys
is still dead.
15. You buy someone a fish and they
will eat for a day. Teach them to fish and they will have food for
a lifetime!
16. Smile! It is proven to be the fastest way to brighten a day!
