We Desire Death Like You Desire Life…

"For the terminally naive, a reminder: Hamas’s use of women, children and old people as human shields is not just Israeli hasbara. A Hamas MP proudly proclaimed it back in 2008. Recent events have not proven him wrong.

Muslim Tries To Enforce Sharia Law In Philadelphia

"Though it has yet to gain traction on a larger scale, a movement within America to implement Sharia law has nonetheless continued to attract support. The brutal Islamic justice system calls for violent retribution for many criminal infractions in compliance with the faith’s code of conduct. Philadelphia police claim that a disturbing example of domestic adherence to the philosophy recently took place in the city’s southwest section." . . . WesternJournalism

Hamas Gave Liberal Code Pink Red Carpet Treatment During Gaza Visit; Code Pink Wore Hamas Gear

"The news media, especially the Washington Post, is giving the so-called antiwar group Code Pink prominent coverage for the protests against Israel during its current defensive war with Hamas in Gaza. What the Post and the rest of the media don’t report is that Code Pink is allied with the Hamas and has 'diplomatic'” relations with the terrorist group.

In June 2009 Code Pink made a trip to Hamas-controlled Gaza. According to reports by two participants, Code Pink had such a close relationship with Hamas that the terrorists literally rolled out the red carpet for Code Pink and that a Code Pink leader wore a Hamas hat at a meeting with Hamas." . . . Air Force Research: How To Use Social Media To Control People Like Drones

"One study, funded by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), has gone a step further. 'A less investigated problem is once you’ve identified the network, how do you manipulate it toward an end,' said Warren Dixon, a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering and director of the University of Florida’s Nonlinear Controls and Robotics research group. Dixon was the principal investigator on an Air Force Research Laboratory-funded project, which published its findings in February in a paper entitled 'Containment Control for a Social Network with State-Dependent Connectivity.'

The research demonstrates that the mathematical principles used to control groups of autonomous robots can be applied to social networks in order to control human behavior." . . . ARSTechnica

"In a country that is persistently spiraling away from individual freedoms, police officers now arrest citizens for allowing their children to play outdoors. The cases of Tammy Cooper and Debra Harrell are emblematic of the decline of liberty under the stifling nanny state.

In a 2012 case, soon to be featured in a new documentary by John Stossel, a Texas woman was supervising her children, 9 and 6, from her front yard as they rode their scooters in the cul-de-sac -- a feature that brought this family to the neighborhood. Moments later, a police officer arrived and placed the woman under arrest for child endangerment.

The mother, Tammy Cooper, told local news that she spent 18 hours in a cell wearing an orange jumpsuit. All of this because a neighbor called the police saying the children were playing unsupervised. Cooper said the police officer arrived, announced that he was there for her and said, 'Ma'am turn around and put your hands behind your back, you're under arrest for child endangerment.'" . . . Iowa Newspaper Fires Editor for Criticizing Gay Bible, Then Paper Attacks His Opinion

"And when he decided to write a column on his personal blog objecting to a gay-friendly version of the Bible, Bob was unceremoniously marched out of the Newton Daily News and shoved out the front door. After a brief investigation, the Iowa newspaper fired Bob and then publicly castigated him in an editorial. They accused him of compromising the reputation of the newspaper. They said what he wrote resulted in the loss of public trust.

Bob ran afoul of the newspaper’s bosses by daring to criticize the “Queen James Bible” website. The website sells copies of God’s Word that have been rewritten with a gay friendly slant." . . . Townhall

Price Of Beef And Bacon Reach All-Time High

"The price of beef and bacon hit its all-time high in the United States in June, according to data released Tuesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). In January 1980, when BLS started tracking the price of these commodities, ground chuck cost $1.82 per pound and bacon cost $1.45 per pound. By this June 2014, ground chuck cost $3.91 per pound and bacon cost $6.11 per pound.

A decade ago, in June 2004, a pound of ground chuck cost $2.49, which means that the commodity has increased by 57 percent since then. Bacon has increased by 78.7 percent from the $3.42 it cost in June 2004 to the $6.11 it costs now." . . . CNSNews

Oklahoma Man Struggles For Three Months To Cancel Obamacare Enrollment

"The Obamacare woes continue as an Oklahoma man spent three agonizing months trying to cancel his health insurance plan. David Emanuel’s 65th birthday last April, when he became eligible for Medicare, spurred him to cancel his private health insurance plan. He called BlueCross BlueShield to terminate the plan and was met with resistance.

'They said, ‘You can’t do anything until healthcare.gov tells us that you can drop it,’ he said. He phoned healthcare.gov, but no one answered. Emanuel showed KJRH-OK the call logs displaying how long he waited to speak to a representative from the health care exchange. The call logs show that Emanuel waited 131 minutes one time and 126 minutes another time." . . . FreeBeacon

Scientists: Atheists Might Not Exist

"He cites several reasons for his suggestion, including that scientists are becoming more and more aware 'that a metaphysical outlook may be so deeply ingrained in human thought processes that it cannot be expunged.' He suggests something that would be concerning to atheists, that 'what you actually believe is not a decision you make for yourself.'

'Your fundamental beliefs are decided by much deeper levels of consciousness, and some may well be more or less set in stone,' he said. He quotes Graham Lawton in the New Scientist, who wrote: 'Atheism is psychologically impossible because of the way humans think. … They point to studies showing, for example, that even people who claim to be committed atheists tacitly hold religious beliefs, such as the existence of an immortal soul.'" . . . Challenging Game Helps Kids Learn To Think Like Programmers

"Challenging game helps kids learn to think like programmers." - Graphite
Graphic Source: Graphite

"The concept is simple -- direct a robotic arm to move crates to a designated spot -- but young programmers will find the implementation quite challenging. And just like in coding, a working solution may not be the optimal solution. Scores depend on how concisely the program runs. Since kids can replay each level, they are empowered to take chances and to try multiple solutions -- even when they've had a successful one -- to find the best solution. Cargo-Bot encourages the kind of innovative thinking necessary for the digital age as it introduces kids to programming skills.

Kids can learn hands-on programming skills as they drag and drop directions into place to make the robotic arm move and do what they tell it to. They'll learn the gist of programming concepts like procedural abstraction, subroutines, looping constructs, and conditional programming without having to master the lingo or detailed syntax of code. Kids will practice tackling a big problem by breaking it down into smaller problems to solve, a foundation of writing good code." . . . Graphite

Found After 500 Years, The Wreck Of Christopher Columbus’s Flagship The Santa Maria (PS: Don't Tell Minneapolis City Council And Its Unanimous Scrapping Of Columbus Day.)

"The site is also an exact match in terms of historical knowledge about the underwater topography associated with the loss of the Santa Maria. The local currents are also consistent with what is known historically about the way the vessel drifted immediately prior to its demise.

The footprint of the wreck, represented by the pile of ship’s ballast, is also exactly what one would expect from a vessel the size of the Santa Maria.

Using marine magnetometers, side-scan sonar equipment and divers, Mr. Clifford’s team has, over several years, investigated more than 400 seabed anomalies off the north coast of Haiti and has narrowed the search for the Santa Maria down to the tiny area where the wreck, which the team thinks may well be Columbus’ lost vessel, has been found." . . . What will America look like under a second Obama presidency? If you don't have a clue, you better find one! Check alpha by state/city where this film is playing before November 6, 2012. Unofficial bio of Gerald R. Molen. A picture is worth a thousand words! This photo was not actually aT the White House, but, regardless of WHERE it was taken, the fact is that he cancelled the National Day of Prayer, said that we are no longer a Christian nation, and has no problem taking part in Muslim prayer. U.S. President Barack Obama bows to Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio at MacDill Air Force Base on January 28, 2010, in Tampa, Florida. Iorio had honored CAIR annually in Tampa with its own day in November 2008, acknowledging the large amout of Muslims living in the area. "Ayers, now a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, claims to abhor nostalgia ("Nothing is more boring than some old person going on and on about the way things used to be"). But he has been thinking lately about the past—both his and the country's—and soon he will likely be engaged in what he calls "a dialogue" about the sixties, the antiwar movement, and the radical life he led. The spur for this dialogue will be the publication of Fugitive Days (Beacon Press, $24), a memoir Ayers has written about the trajectory of his life, from a pampered son of the Chicago suburbs to a young pacifist to a founder of one of the most radical political organizations in U.S. history."
